Outstation Trip to Jibhi, Jalori Pass, Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh for Class XII

N.K. Bagrodia Public School organized an enriching four-nights, five-days educational trip to Jibhi, Jalori Pass, Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh for the students of Class XII and a few students of 8 std (10 students), held from 14 May to 18 May 2025. The primary aim of the excursion was to provide students with a chance to unwind, explore nature, and build cherished memories with their peers.

 

A total of 75 students and 8 teachers participated in the trip. A brief pre-trip orientation was conducted, covering safety protocols and outlining the detailed itinerary. The group set off in two buses at 8 pm on 14 May 2025, brimming with excitement and anticipation. The journey was lively and energetic, filled with music and dance. A delightful dinner at Murthal added to the excitement before continuing overnight towards Jibhi.

 

Upon reaching the **Bushman Lodge and Camps** on 15th May, the students were allotted rooms and served lunch after a brief period of rest. The highlight of the evening was an exhilarating and refreshing river crossing and time spent in river waters—a thrilling and refreshing experience thoroughly enjoyed by the students.

 

On 16th May, the group departed for Jalori Pass trek (5 km one way) and Serolsar Lake visit. Students were mesmerized by the enchanting beauty of **Serolsar Lake** and thoroughly relished the experience despite the physical exertion. After a joyful day of trekking and sightseeing, they returned to the camps for a high-energy **DJ night**, where students danced enthusiastically to Bollywood, Punjabi, and Haryanvi music, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

 

On 17th May, after a sumptuous breakfast the group left for Jibhi waterfall and Mini Thailand. These serene locations provided perfect backdrops for photos, helping students capture their journey. The group did local hopping and shopping and had lunch on their way back to the camps. The students again enjoyed an evening filled with music and dance. A standout moment was the surprise birthday celebration Aditya and Ruhaan, adding joy and excitement to the trip and reinforcing bonds among the students.

 

On the final day i.e. on 18th May which was more relaxed, the students had early lunch, packed their bags and then on their way back were taken to the Great Himalayan Nature Park and Chhoi Waterfall. The students trekked all the way to the waterfall and completely enjoyed the trek up. The return trip was filled with laughter, heartfelt reflections, and a touch of emotion, marking the end of a truly memorable experience.

 

The trip to Jibhi, Jalori Pass, Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh was a perfect blend of adventure, bonding, and exploration. It provided the students with a refreshing break and a deeper appreciation for nature, all the while strengthening friendships and creating unforgettable memories. The trip also fostered teamwork, self reliance, and camaraderie. Parents expressed satisfaction with the seamless organization and the safety measures in place throughout the trip.

 

 

 

 

TRIP TO JIBHI 

Introduction

The trip to Jibhi, organized for students of classes IX and X, was a resounding success, providing a unique blend of adventure, education, and fun. The five-day journey, spanning from May 21st to May 25th, 2025, took the students on an unforgettable odyssey through the breathtaking landscapes of Himachal Pradesh.

 

Day 1: Journey to Jibhi

The journey began on May 21st, as 73 students and 9 teachers gathered at the school, eager to embark on their adventure. After a hearty dinner at Utsav Dhaba, the group reached Mandi, setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead.

 

Day 2: Exploring Jibhi

The next morning, the group departed for Jibhi, reaching Bushman Lodge, their home for the next few days. The students spent the day exploring the picturesque Riverside, where they reveled in the joy of splashing in the water, laughing, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

 

Day 3: Trek to Jalori Pass

The following day, the students embarked on an exhilarating 8km trek to Jalori Pass, pushing their limits and testing their endurance. The breathtaking views from the top were a testament to their hard work and determination. As they made their way back, they visited the stunning Serolsar Lake, marveling at its beauty and tranquility.

 

Day 4: Jibhi Waterfall and Mini Thailand

The next day, the group visited the majestic Jibhi Waterfall, feeling the rush of the water and basking in the natural beauty of the surroundings. Later, they explored Mini Thailand, discovering the unique cultural and architectural similarities between the two regions. The evening was spent at Ausnya Hotel in Tirthan Valley, where they enjoyed a grand dinner and a lively DJ night.

 

Day 5: Return Journey

The final day of the trip was bittersweet, as the students bid farewell to Jibhi and began their journey back to Delhi. Before departing, they visited a local shop, where they purchased souvenirs and mementos to cherish the memories of their trip. The group reached Delhi at 6:00 am, tired but content, with hearts full of joy and minds full of memories.

 

Conclusion

The trip to Jibhi was a resounding success, providing the students with a unique blend of adventure, education, and fun. The experience not only broadened their horizons but also helped them develop essential life skills, such as teamwork, perseverance, and adaptability. As they returned home, they carried with them memories that would last a lifetime, and a newfound appreciation for the beauty and diversity of India.

The journey of thousand miles begin with one step’- a chinese proverb totally relevant to the experience gained by the students of NK Bagrodia Public School, sector 4, Dwarka.

The students of NK Bagrodia Public School, sector 4, Dwarka have been constantly rooting themselves for accelerations leaving behind the stairs for juniors to lead onto the footprints and rise above. Keeping the very thought into the hearts, a ‘Students’ Exchange Program to France’ was organized by the school. Fourteen students accompanied by Mr Karan Kataria visited France as a part of this exchange. It was a programme spanning 14 days from 02nd May 2023 to 15th May 2023. The students were accommodated in French families during their stay in France so that Indian students and teachers could acquaint with French culture and traditions. 

The students got an opportunity to meet the Mayor and were welcomed in the high school with families. The school chosen for the French Exchange Program is a highly reputed school based in France under the name ‘Lycée Paul Duez,’ located in Cambrai, France.
The students got the opportunity to visit Paris where they visited the museum of Louvre . The tour included visit to Eiffel Tower Jardins des tuileries and place de la concorde.

After their return from Paris, the students also discovered Brugge (a beautiful city in Belgium) They also visited the biggest aquarium in Europe Nausica situated in North of France The students also visited Cap Blanc nez et Gris nez where they could spend some time near the sea side. They also got the opportunity to see museum of mines (Mines de Lewards)in North of France. The other days which were spent in French host school had our students’ dream of attending classes with their associates and their wish of attending open houses with them. The students also worked on the Indo French cultural project which was the main aim of their visit to the country.

The tour was an exhilarating experience for the students.

Educational trip to SGT University: Synergy Fest 2024

On October 16, 2024, a group of 55 senior secondary students accompanied by 5 faculty members of N K BAGRODIA PUBLIC SCHOOL Sector 4 Dwarka, visited SGT University for the annual Science and Technology Fest, Synergy. The event showcased various fields, including medicine, engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology etc.

Event Highlights

Interactive Counters: Each field had dedicated counters that provided insights into current innovations, research, and career opportunities. Students engaged with demonstrations, interactive displays, and informational sessions.

Medicine: The medical counter showcased advancements in healthcare technologies, including telemedicine and robotic surgeries. Students learned about the latest developments in medical research and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Engineering: The engineering section featured innovative projects and prototypes from students. Interactive models demonstrated engineering principles, and faculty shared insights on future trends in the field.

Chemical Engineering: This counter highlighted real-world applications of chemical processes in industries. Students participated in experiments, observing the practical implications of their classroom learning.

Biotechnology: The biotechnology display focused on genetic engineering and biopharmaceuticals. Engaging presentations illustrated the impact of biotechnology on health and agriculture.

The students actively participated in Q&A sessions, asking insightful questions and expressing interest in various career paths. Many reported feeling inspired and motivated to pursue studies in these fields.

 

The visit to SGT University during the Synergy Fest was a valuable educational experience for both students and faculty. It provided an excellent platform for exploring different scientific disciplines and understanding their applications in real-world scenarios. The exposure to cutting-edge technology and research motivated students to consider future careers in science and technology.

 

Trip to Manali

Our School organised a delightful sojourn for the students of classes XII. It was a  3-day trip to Manali  for the students from 20th May to 23rd  May 2024. Almost 80 students escorted by 9 teachers set off to the enchanting hills by bus. The itinerary was planned brilliantly wherein the students could enjoy and gather the adventurous experiences the most.

First day was the most exciting for the students as they stayed at Gran Krisa Resort adjacent to the Beas river. Post lunch the students went to explore the oldest temples in the hills , Vashisth Temple and then Hadimba Temple. The beautiful and natural alfresco of the temples was a feast for the eyes. The students learnt about their history and got fascinated by the simplicity which they still maintain. The day became more pleasurable with shopping at the Mall Road and the students bought beautiful souvenirs for their near and dear ones. C

The next morning the group headed to the most thrilling spot i.e. snow-point towards Rohtang Pass. They were excited as they had the first time sight of the Atal Tunnel. The amazing masterpiece of technology and engineering captured their eyes. At the snow-point the students enjoyed sliding in the snow and the beauty of the natural small streams. Thereafter, the group proceeded to Solang Valley where they enjoyed Zip-lining and Banzi Jumping activities. The captivating   beauty of the hills kept the students mesmerised. The awesome snow-capped mountain peaks emancipating a spell in the surrounding gave an immense opportunity to capture the picturesque grandeur in cameras. The evening turned musical by an arrangement of a DJ programme where the students danced together cheerfully on the latest Bollywood numbers.

On the third day at Manali they got an opportunity to participate in the most thrilling activities, River Crossing. They were taken to the spot where they crossed the swift flowing icy brook in groups. They were tied with the ropes to ensure their safety and cheered by the spectators while walking across the narrow river. The unrestrained laughter and excitement filled their day with a great and unique adventure to be cherished forever. Thereafter, the group began its journey back to Delhi. The entire trip was a great exploration for the students and enabled them to learn through new experiences.
