N.K Bagrodia Public School, Sector-4, Dwarka lit up with excitement as it hosted Trishna Summit 2024, a dazzling Students Conclave on 9th May 2024. The vibrant annual school fest gave a platform to the young talents from Classes I to XII across Delhi schools to refine their skills and imagination through a wide spectrum of activities with the resounding message, ‘IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU CAN DO IT!’

The event laid a deep focus on collaboration, aiming to cultivate creativity, teamwork, and confidence among students. The fest evolved into a melting pot of talent, ambition, and enthusiasm, with schools uniting not just for competition, but to rejoice in the collective brilliance of their accomplishments. Over 460 students from 20 prestigious schools of Dwarka and neighbouring areas graced the event to showcase their acumen.

The opening ceremony commenced with the invocation of blessings from the Divine followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a heartfelt floral tribute to revered founder, Late Shri Nand Kishore Bagrodia ji, filling the air with sacred significance. A mesmerizing dance performance titled ‘Saraswati Vandana’ by young dancers added a touch of divinity to the proceedings. Group Captain B.Venkatesh graced the event as the Chief Guest. The Head of the school, Ms. Anjali Kharbanda extended a warm welcome to the esteemed chief guest and to all the event observers. She also welcomed and addressed the august gathering. The vibrant musical prelude, “Hum Saaz Ki Awaaz Me Sangeet Laye hain…” infused the atmosphere with an exhilarating energy. The Fest was officially inaugurated and declared open by the chief guest.

This students conclave included myriad of events such as Neoteric Innovation for classes  I & II , Tomorrow’s Tapestry for classes III to IV, Pratidhvani for classes VII and VIII, Book Trailor for classes IX and X, Abhivyakti for classes VI to VIII , Artvaganza for classes IX and X, Ingenious Explorers Expo for classes VII and VIII, Treasure Hunt for classes IX and X, TechSpark Colloquy for classes XI and XII and  Fruit-O-Utsav for classes VI to VIII. In Fruit-O-Utsav event the chief guest alongwith HOSsowed the seeds of inspiration among the upcoming generation by planting fruit saplings. All the participants also planted the fruit saplings in the school garden area and exhibited the benefits of those plants in their presentations.

The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished Chief Guest, Dr. Kirti Kale, an acclaimed Indian poet. Among the esteemed guests were luminaries such as Shri K K Dhanuka, founder trustee, Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta, school trustee, along with Ms. Manju Gupta, School Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Rajee N Kumar, Ms. Jaishree Nawani, Principal, N.K Bagrodia Global School, Dwarka, and Ms. Satinder Kaur, Academic Coordinator.

A resounding and captivating rhythmic performance titled ‘If You Believe’ infused the atmosphere with positivity. Following this, the Head of the School delivered her welcome address, expressing appreciation for the participants’ display of skills across all events. Subsequently, the Chief Guest addressed the audience, delivering an inspiring message. She encouraged students to engage in introspection and self-realization, emphasizing the importance of understanding one’s own value and maintaining diligence and perseverance towards life goals. Additionally, the Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Rajee N Kumar, offered valuable insights on the occasion.

The final segment of the closing ceremony was the acknowledgment and honoring of the top performers from each event. Those who demonstrated exceptional merit were presented with certificates and gift hampers as tokens of recognition.
