NKBPS Dwarka bestowed Responsibilities to Young Bagrodians
“Celebrating leadership and commitment at Investiture Ceremony.”
N. K. Bagrodia Public School, Sec-4 Dwarka organized Investiture ceremony on 26th July 2024 to confer its newly elected prefectorial board which was selected after a rigorous selection procedure with duties and responsibilities for the session 2024-25. The momentous occasion was presided over by the Chief Guest, Retired Major Abhinandan Singh, the founder trustee of NK Bagrodia Education Society Shri. K. K. Dhanuka ji, Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta ji, trustee of NK Bagrodia Education Society, Dr.(Mrs.) Rajee N Kumar, Director of NK Bagrodia group of schools , the Principal, Ms. Anjali Kharbanda and the parents.
The ceremony commenced with a solemn invocation to the Almighty by lighting sacred lamp followed by a soulful rendition of the prayer. The traditional lighting of the lamp was performed by the Chief Guest and the invited dignitaries along with the Principal, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and leadership.
The Principal, Ms Anjali Kharbanda felicitated the esteemed Chief guest and the distinguished guests by presenting them plants as token of gratitude and reverence. This was followed by her welcome speech wherein she addressed the august gathering and inspired the students to follow the path of discipline, sincerity and discharge their duties with commitment.
Thereafter, a melodious group song ‘Reach for the Stars’ was sung by the students’ choir group showcasing the essence of the school motto Discipline, Diligence and Self- confidence. The melodious musical rendition left the audience mesmerized. The synchronised, spellbinding dance performance depicting our dreams ‘Aspirations of Life’ set the tone of the day and filled the entire atmosphere with electrifying and zealous energy.
The newly elected students’ council which was well-prepared to don the mantle of leadership for the session 2024-25 was bestowed with the badges and sashes by the honorable Chief guest, the revered dignitaries and the school principal. The team of the office bearers was led by Head Boy, Kuber Kumar and Head Girl Shreyasi of class XII. The team included Hari Mohan Sambyal and Gaurang Kaushik of class XI who were elected as the Vice Head Boy and Vice Head Girl. Junior Head boy Arjun Singh and Junior head girl Soumya S along with the Junior Vice Head boy Shourya Yadav and Junior Vice Head Girl Ahana Chhabra all from class V shouldered responsibilities with smiles on their faces. Apeksha Anand and Aditya Singh were elected as the Sports Captains. The appointed House Captains and Vice captains of four houses were Hridyanshu Samantray and Mannat Singh (Vivekananda House), Vanshika and Advik Mahajan (Valmiki House), Anuska Sodhi and Khushi Rohilla (Siddhartha House), Kanishka and Aakansha Raj (Aryabhatta House) respectively. The Cultural Secretary Angel Singh along with Associate Cultural Secretaries, Shreya Parmar and Disha Malhotra, the members of the Disciplinary Council-Shlokansh Chaturvedi (XI), Kulpreet Kaur, Kashvi Bisht, Mehul Prajapati and Arnabi Banerjee (X) along with the team of the Editorial Board Medha Tripathi (Chief Editor), Gauri Sharma (English Editor), Mahesh Yadav (Hindi Editor), Anaiya (Sanskrit Editor) and Anvi Dhar (French Editor ) , Crusaders of Environment Council- Tanishka Koul, Suhani Jain, IT Council members- Anshika Mishra and Himakshi Garg, members of Super Ten squad and class representatives all marched forth with the zeal and enthusiasm.
The Students council took the oath to emancipate their responsibilities by holding the school motto and pledged to take the institution to soaring heights. The Prefectorial Board marched with pride and zeal and vowed to work for the welfare of the school and the students.
The Chief guest congratulated the new cabinet and delivered his inspiring speech motivating them to wield responsibilities as a true patriot. Later The school Director, Dr. (Mrs) Rajee N Kumar also addressed the newly elected members emphasizing the qualities of effective leadership, the importance of integrity, and the role of students in shaping the future.
The Investiture Ceremony was a resounding success, marking a new chapter in the leadership journey. The event not only celebrated the appointment of new leaders but also reinforced the values of leadership, responsibility, and commitment among the student body. The school community looks forward to the positive impact and contributions of the newly appointed leaders throughout the year.
