Glimpses 2024-25: A Rhythmic Rendition

A satiety of diverse activities unfolded on 8th February for Glimpses 2024-25: A Rhythmic Rendition, which was a spectacular celebration of talent, creativity, and awareness, presented by the students of the primary wing of N.K. Bagrodia Public School comprising of students of classes l & ll. The school celebrated its annual program where it aspired to mould young impressionable minds into creative individuals by tapping their talent and instilling confidence. The theme of this year’s function, “नवोभद्व – Revival Through New Beginnings,” beautifully captured the essence of transformation, fresh opportunities, and a renewed outlook towards life.
The program commenced with the lightning of the ceremonial lamp by the Principal Ms Anjali Kharbanda and welcoming other dignitaries. The members of the Management Committee graced the occasion with their benevolent presence.
To invoke divine blessings, the students performed a mesmerizing Vishnu Vandana, a dance depicting the different avatars of Lord Vishnu. Dressed in traditional costumes, the young performers moved gracefully, capturing the essence of divine energy through their expressions and synchronized movements. This performance created a spiritual and serene ambiance, leaving the audience spellbound.
Following this, the chief guests were welcomed with floral bouquets, acknowledging their presence and contribution to the event. The Principal then took the stage to deliver the Welcome Address, extending heartfelt gratitude to parents, teachers and students for their continuous support and enthusiasm. She highlighted how such events play a crucial role in the holistic development of children and encouraged parents to nurture their creative and intellectual growth.
The next segment of the program emphasized the importance of health and wellness. A Yoga Act was performed by the young students, showcasing various yoga postures with elegance and precision. Their flexibility and confidence in executing asanas like the tree pose, cobra pose, and warrior pose left the audience impressed. The act reinforced the significance of physical and mental well-being, promoting yoga as a way of life. The performance was a perfect blend of discipline, concentration, and grace, making it one of the highlights of the event.
The highlight of the function was a unique thematic storytelling performance, where students addressed critical global concerns in a creative and engaging manner. The narrative revolved around a group of children who discover the consequences of unhealthy choices and environmental neglect. Through a series of acts, they explored topics such as: the dangers of junk food, screen time addiction and environmental pollution Each issue was seamlessly woven into the storyline, keeping the audience engaged while delivering crucial messages in a child-friendly manner. The rhythmic narration, expressive dialogues, and well-coordinated movements made the performance a visual treat.
As the event neared its conclusion, all the young participants came together for a grand finale performance. Their joyful expressions and synchronized dance moves created a lively and festive atmosphere, symbolizing hope, new beginnings, and positive change. The energy and enthusiasm of the students were contagious, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
The guests of honour and the Director, Dr. (Mrs). Rajee N Kumar blessed the efforts and hard work of the teachers and the students. They were superlative in their appreciation as they lauded the vision and the relentless hard work of the students and their mentors for presenting such a message-oriented program. The cooperation extended by the parents to make the event a grand success was also applauded and appreciated. The students exuded so much of self confidence, talent and grace that onlookers were left mesmerized with firm assurance in their minds that young Bagrodians are a promising and successful future of tomorrow. With this keenness and fervent passion to extract best out of every student, that day is not far when Bagrodians shall reach the pinnacles of glory and success in times to come.
Following this, Incharge of the primary wing, Ms Richa Goel took the stage to deliver a heartfelt vote of thanks. She praised the students for their hard work and confidence, appreciated the dedication of the teachers in training them, and expressed gratitude to the parents for their unwavering support. She emphasized how such events nurture a child’s creativity, self-expression, and awareness of the world around them.
The event concluded with cheers, applause, and a sense of pride among parents and teachers. The annual function, Glimpses 2024-25, truly lived up to its theme, “नवोभद्व – Revival Through New Beginnings,” inspiring everyone to embrace positive change, adopt healthier habits, and work towards a brighter future. The event was not just a celebration but a powerful reminder that even the youngest voices can make a difference in shaping a better world. The program culminated with the National Anthem.
