Special Assembly Report: Commencement of the New Academic Session
The special assembly held on April 1st, 2024, at N.K.Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka marked the commencement of the new academic session with enthusiasm and vigour. The event commenced with a speech emphasizing the dawn of new opportunities that the new session brings for students, faculty, and staff alike. It set a tone of excitement and anticipation for the journey ahead and inspired students to embrace the challenges and possibilities of the new academic year with courage and determination. This segment aimed to instil a sense of positivity and motivation among the school community.
A mesmerizing dance performance of Ganesh Vandana added a cultural dimension to the assembly, showcasing the talent and creativity of our young bagrodian. The performance invoked a sense of reverence and spiritual connection, setting a harmonious atmosphere for the gathering.
An important highlight of the assembly was the distribution of the House Trophies. Siddhartha House was awarded the Best House trophy for their outstanding performance in the previous session, while Aryabhatta House secured the Runners-up trophy. This recognition served to motivate students and teachers to excel in their respective houses and foster healthy competition throughout the year.
The assembly culminated with an address by the Head of School Ms Anjali Kharbanda, who reflected on the significance of the new session in providing fresh opportunities for growth and learning. Notably, Mannat Kaur Tuli of XII F was appreciated for her publication of a book of poems ‘The Antecedents that Taught Me to Fly’. The first copy of her book was presented to Ms. Kharbanda, symbolizing the school’s support for creative endeavours and academic achievements.
As a symbol of unity and patriotism, the assembly concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, uniting the school community in pride and solidarity. Overall, the special assembly was a resounding success, setting a positive tone for the new academic session and inspiring students to embark on their educational journey with enthusiasm and determination.
